My lessons with Emily are always a joy. As a fellow classical/historical dressage nerd, I was thrilled when Emily moved to my area. I had struggled to find someone to help me level-up my riding who also felt like the right fit. It was important to me to find someone with similar ethics towards horses and riding, and also someone who understood dressage for what it should be– training that improves the horse’s body and mind, and promotes lifelong soundness. Emily is all of those things. Though she is a kind and compassionate teacher, she will also push you to improve. She explains things clearly, and understands the “why” behind it as well. With each lesson, I come away with at least 3 new bits of knowledge or things to work on. Emily’s knowledge and dedication to the horse is immeasurable.
