Winter weather keeping you out of the saddle? Maximize your unmounted work with the basics of the work in-hand! Learn how the different schools approach in-hand work and basic guidelines for how to do it on your own at home. This lecture will go over both the Iberian and Viennese traditions of in-hand, what each ones pros and cons are, and how they can complement each other for different training purposes. Lecture will be given both in-person and virtual. In-person attendees encouraged to bring snacks or drinks to share.
