Evita was our beautiful Lusitano mare that we specially selected to match with Orfeo. Evita’s parents were both imported from Portugal, and she has a wonderful combination of bloodlines. Her color is just icing on the cake; not only is she a buckskin, but her dam was a chestnut, so she has potential to pass the chestnut gene. She is very sweet and loving with exceptional movement and conformation. Her first foal, Fantasia, is exceptional.

Evita was lost in the flooding from Hurricane Helene. We will never forget her sweet temperament and loving nature that made her one of the best EAL horses we could have asked for. We have her cremello colt by Orfeo, Qorazon, and we share ownership on her gray colt by Orfeo, Romeo, with Don Paulhus. We intend to have both of these colts approved for breeding with APSL whenever we can.
