Healing through horses

In modern society, so many suffer from burnout and mental exhaustion. This is why we’ve begun a wellness program that address the physical side and the internal side of this challenge. For the physical side, we provide PEMF services to help people recover faster, get more energy, and decrease their stress load. PEMF is also available for horses or in a dual offering. For the internal side, we offer Meadow Meditation, which uses farm animals to help facilitate meditation and help people develop mindfulness and fill their cup again. These are significantly discounted for those who are in a position where they help others, such as teachers, healthcare workers, veterinary healthcare workers, spiritual leaders, veterans, first responders, and more. They are also discounted for our precious younger generations who are navigating a rapidly changing world with all the pressures being a student can have. Check out our Anima Renova offerings to see what we have and what we are developing!

Reading with horses

Many children and youth struggle with reading, especially reading aloud to an audience. For students that struggle with this, reading with horses is powerful to help bolster confidence and improve reading skills in a nurturing environment. Students of all ages can also benefit from studying alongside horses, such as preparing for finals or other tests. We can also bring one of our horses (or other animals) to your school! Contact us if you are interested!

Respite days

We are now offering respite days for those in caretaker positions! These include a group Meadow Meditation session, lunch with a short educational talk, and a private PEMF session. After (or between) these, participants are welcome to stroll around the farm or otherwise relax and recharge. These are free of charge to those in caretaker* positions. However, we’re happy to offer these to others who have a need. As we grow, we intend to grow these respite days even further, incorporating some of the developing elements mentioned below and adding lodging for groups to come from afar.

*Caretaker positions that qualify include: healthcare workers (including those in mental health), first responders, veterinary workers, teachers, spiritual leaders/clergy, and agricultural professionals (i.e., farmers and professionals in the equestrian industry). If you are in a similar industry not listed and feel that your industry needs attention and help, please reach out!

Wellness Retreats

Are you a professional in the equestrian or veterinary industries? We are starting a series of wellness retreats during the winter for professionals in the equine industry (grooms, instructors, barn managers, etc.) and for veterinarians. These are focused on unmounted skills (such as mindfulness, finance, teaching techniques, and psychology) and are meant to provide a getaway for professionals and veterinarians so they can unwind and focus on personal development. Activities include our Anima Renova wellness offerings, seminars, fun and games to build camaraderie, and more. Participants get to vote on their topics for their weekend, and these retreats will be kept as affordable as possible until scholarships are developed for veterinarians or professionals to apply to.

Watch our Events page for upcoming themed retreats!

You may also book a special themed retreat for your group, whether for riding skills or professional development. Contact us for pricing and availability.

Bridging the gap

For individuals who have already gone through equine-assisted learning or equine-assisted psychotherapy programs, we offer a path to bridge the gap! Most EAP/EAL programs do not allow individuals to ride within that program or do not have a pathway to help those individuals enter the equestrian industry, whether they choose to become trainers or farriers, saddle fitters, etc.

This is our Phoenix Rider program. Step 1 introduces individuals, preferably in groups of similar demographics (veterans, youth, etc.) to horsemanship in general. Step 2 opens a internship pathways for more in-depth learning about riding or equine anatomy and physiology. After this, if the individuals choose not to become riders or trainers, we can help them find the avenue for the next step, whether that’s farrier school, saddle fitting school, massage therapy certification, or other schooling, and if they do wish to become riders or trainers, they can pursue a more in-depth riding internship.
