SUMMARY:Biomechanics Symposium Spring 2026
DESCRIPTION:Ever been curious about biomechanics for your riding? Join us for a weekend of learning and practice! Covering both equine and human principles\, this weekend will provide a deep dive into the science of riding while also providing tools for you to integrate this knowledge into your everyday practice. \nFriday evening will start the symposium off with dinner and an introductory lecture introducing principles that apply to both horses and humans. Saturday will start with a rider biomechanics lecture and a group Pilates/calisthenics session\, followed by a lunch and then a longe lesson on yours or one of our horses (2 available; lesson horse use fee or stabling fee included in total price)\, or if you’d prefer\, a Maestro seat work session\, which involves more hands-on fine tuning with our Equicizer. Dinner will offer a chance for discussion and further Q&A to recap the day. Sunday will start with horse biomechanics lecture and demonstration followed by lunch and then private lessons. \nUp to 5 participant slots available for lessons and fitness sessions\, but auditing is unlimited (meals included for auditors as well). SUMMARY:Introduction to Rossfechten 2026
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an introduction to Rossfechten (mounted fencing)! This workshop will go over some of the basics of Rossfechten with a mounted demonstration\, followed by an optional group lesson in the afternoon. Prior riding experience required for the group lesson\, and please bring horses that play well with others\, as you’ll be going into closer quarters with each other. Maximum of 4 in the group lesson; if more are interested\, we’ll do two group lessons\, so if all slots are sold\, send us a message\, and we’ll open up a second group lesson slot! Price is $30 for the morning workshop and demo\, $80 for the workshop and group lesson. Two lesson horses available; pricing is the same for use of lesson horse as well as for bringing your own.
