SUMMARY:Classical Riding Book Club
DESCRIPTION:Displayed price is for all of 2026; individual dates can be booked through the Eventbrite link! \nJoin us as we start up a monthly bookclub! We’ll cover different classical riding books and books about the history of classical riding. Each two months\, we’ll change books so that everyone has a chance to read as much as they can and ask the questions they have. When temperatures permit\, these will be equine-assisted book clubs\, held either in the arena or in the pasture with some of our equine facilitators. These sessions will also be hybrid virtual and in-person. Please RSVP for the in-person sessions at least one day in advance and the virtual sessions one hour in advance. \nEach session is $10. Please RSVP through Evenbrite (link below)\, as our event software is still in development for individual tickets for recurring events. If you’d like to purchase tickets for the whole year\, season passes are available!

SUMMARY:Tools for Training: Work In-Hand
DESCRIPTION:Winter weather keeping you out of the saddle? Maximize your unmounted work with the basics of the work in-hand! Learn how the different schools approach in-hand work and basic guidelines for how to do it on your own at home. This lecture will go over both the Iberian and Viennese traditions of in-hand\, what each ones pros and cons are\, and how they can complement each other for different training purposes. Lecture will be given both in-person and virtual. In-person attendees encouraged to bring snacks or drinks to share. \nPlease sign up through ticketing below. Tickets for in-person attendance will close the day prior to the event so we can best prepare. Tickets for virtual attendance are available until one hour prior. We are no longer taking tickets at the door because it affects how well we can plan and prepare for attendees\, so if you plan to come\, please sign up as early as possible!
